The Libertyville Civic Center Foundation is organized for charitable purposes and benefits the community through the partnership and support of local civic, senior and philanthropic organizations. As a means to provide these groups with affordable, easily accessible gathering space, the Foundation operates and maintains the historic Civic Center, a versatile, two-story structure located in the heart of Libertyville’s downtown.
The Libertyville Civic Center started as a post office in the heart of downtown Libertyville back in 1935 and since then has evolved into a diverse Village-owned community event building.
WHAT WE DO
The Libertyville Civic Center Foundation is a non-profit organization that manages the Libertyville Civic Center, a two story building with multiple gathering spaces; offering the opportunity for Libertyville and its surrounding community residents to host an array of different charitable, civic and social events at extremely affordable rates.
WHAT WE OFFER
Six different room rental options are available, ranging from the intimate, business meeting setting to hosting an event for groups as large as 200 people. Audio/Video equipment is available for rent. Chairs and tables are included with rental.
DESIGN YOUR GATHERING
Several successful events including fundraisers for charitable organizations. high school reunions, religious services and many others have been hosted at the Libertyville Civic Center. Social events gathering family and friends, celebrating any sort of special occasion are also perfect to host at the Libertyville Civic Center.
The Civic Center offers a variety of amenities including A/V equipment rental, secure internet access, catering services of your choice, and allows for a live band or dj. Alcohol can be served upon request and with proper insurance.

The Libertyville Civic Center is located in downtown Libertyville, one block west of Milwaukee Avenue (Route 21) and three blocks north of Park Avenue (Route 176). Parking is plentiful in the free municipal parking garage just South of the Civic Center building
