Our Mission

Serving our community through charitable service.

 The Libertyville Civic Center Foundation is organized for charitable purposes and benefits the community through the partnership and support of local civic, senior and philanthropic organizations.   As a means to provide these groups with affordable, easily accessible gathering space, the Foundation operates and maintains the historic Civic Center, a versatile, two-story structure located in the heart of Libertyville’s downtown.

What we do

The Libertyville Civic Center Foundation is a non-profit organization that manages the Libertyville Civic Center, a two story building with multiple gathering spaces; offering the opportunity for Libertyville and its surrounding community residents to host an array of different charitable, civic and social events at extremely affordable rates.

What we offer

Six different room rental options are available, ranging from the intimate, business meeting setting to hosting a charity event for groups as large as 200 people.  Audio/Video equipment is available for rent.


Our history
The Libertyville Civic Center started as a post office in the heart of downtown Libertyville back in 1935 and since then has evolved into a diverse village community event building. Rental rates are reasonable and affordable. Civic and charitable organizations are able to lease the facilty at deep discounts.
